Collecting Wenwan walnuts is a Chinese tradition with beautiful walnuts passed on from one generation to the next. The patina that develops from handling is a metaphoric transfer of the essence of the previous owner. The American walnut wood of the armchair is combined with tubular steel and Wenwan walnut shell finials to give a warm, textured, modern look.
