Geology is a collection of works made by cutting stones into halves or slices and compositing them into a surface. Some works use a steel armature to hold the individual stones in place with negative space around each stone while others use UV bonding to adhere stones to a glass surface. Each piece is unique due to the process.

Smoky Mountain
Smoky Mountain incense holders are carved from Colorado alabaster. A grid of holes is drilled at a set depth, they function as vent holes when the piece is complete but also function as registration marks for carving out the cavity. They were designed to bring in a secondary element of fire to the stone story.
Fountain
Left at an experimental stage, these fountains were meant to bring in another elemental component to the stone story.
