Burning Joss is a a project produced for the Walker Art Center for Intangibles, a conceptual art pop-up store created by Michele Tobin and Emmet Byrne. The concept of the store was to sell experiential products. The collection consists of two posters that can be cut and folded to create two of our traditional products. These paper effigies were then intended to be burnt to send our products to your ancestors as part of Chinese traditional ancestor worship. One poster is of our Metamorphic Rock Bookend, the other is of our Cold Cut Coasters.
