Monument Bookends are a version of the Metamorphic Rock Bookend designed for production. The design is inspired by the fact that the pyramids of Egypt were once covered in smooth white limestone and imagines what another minimalist stone monolith would look like.

The first 50 pieces were produced in New Jersey with the following run made in China. The difference can be discerned via the surface finish, the original 50 being more matte, and the rubber pad on the bottom, the original 50 having a textured, hand cut pad and the following run with a die cut solid pad with the "Chen Chen & Kai Williams" logo burned in.
