Kai Williams (born 22 August 1984) is an American designer and co-founder of Chen Chen & Kai Williams based in New York City.
Early Life
Kai was born in Midtown, Manhattan and grew up in Carnegie Hall.
Career
Kai worked in graphic design and as an assistant to Tom Sachs for several years before starting a CNC fabrication studio in Greenpoint Brooklyn. Dissatisfied with strict fabrication he began collaborating on projects with Chen, eventually starting a design studio together.
