Floating Stone is the name of a material concept by Chen Chen & Kai Williams Inc.
Each slab or furniture piece from this concept is an uniquely composed pattern of split stones that are arranged on a surface of glass and then UV bonded. The seed of the idea was to create a "clear terrazzo" where the full stone was visible as a 3 dimensional object rather than being reduced to a 2 dimensional graphic.
