Disk Bookends were commissioned by the Gagosian Shop in fall of 2016 as a limited edition of 10 numbered pieces. The design emulates an award trophy and imagines its use in an irreverent tool to prop up a book.
They were machined in Red Hook, Brooklyn and hand polished and waxed in the studio of Chen Chen & Kai Williams.
