Areaware is a gift and home accessories brand based in Brooklyn, NY and Columbus, OH.

In 2015 Mirror Masks were introduced and became the first product designed by Chen Chen & Kai Williams to be produced by Areaware. That fall large Stone Fruit Bowls cast from cantaloupes in porcelain were added to the product offering to be joined by a smaller version cast from grapefruits a year later in fall 2017. In spring 2018 Stacking Planters, a successful self sourced product that Chen Chen & Kai Williams sold from 2016-2017, was licensed to Areaware for more streamlined distribution.
